| Abstract： |
| The relationship between sleep and epilepsy is complex. People with epilepsy often experience poor sleep quality and disrupted sleep architecture. Studies have shown that individuals with epilepsy have reduced REM sleep and changes in REM microstructure. Additionally, some antiseizure medications can also affect sleep architecture. |
