Dear Colleagues,
We have been developing a technologist program to be presented at the upcoming WASM 6th World Congress on Sleep Medicine. We are inviting you to participate in the development and/or presentations. The congress will be from March 21 to 25, 2015 at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul, Korea. The dynamic four day technologist program and workshops are scheduled for Sunday, March 22 through Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
The 2015 Technologist Committee extends an opportunity for you to share your knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following ways:
1. Moderate a technology session.
2. Assist with presenting a topic.
3. Present a 5 minute case within a topic.
The topics to be presented at the technologist workshops include:
- Adult and pediatric PSG masterclass: scoring using the ASSM rules
- Tests of daytime alertness and sleepiness: MSLT & MWT: Scoring Workshop
- Technical tips: PSG artifact recognition and resolution
- Technical tips: Differential Diagnosis of Parasomnias, Movement Disorders, and Seizures in Sleep
- Sleep and the heart: ECG Arrhythmia Recognition
- Sleep and the heart: Cheyne Strokes Respiration, Mechanisms and Treatment with ASV
- Mechanical treatments: PAP devices
- Mechanical treatments: ORANASAL Appliances (Dental, tongue, nasal, throat)
